Appointment Types

Before booking, it can be good to think about how you would like to approach your acupuncture sessions. It can take a few or more sessions for the body to adjust to treatment, and to experience a shift. It’s a reminder that that’s ok - healing is transitional, rather than an end point. If you are coming in with a particular goal or complaint, we will discuss how many treatments you may need. 

A lot of people benefit from a monthly ‘maintenance’ appointment, and generally move towards this after a few sessions. We can think of this treatment like tinkering the spokes of the wheel on a bike, a little goes a long way, and may keep us in good stead for future hurdles.
