Appointment Types
Before booking, it can be good to think about how you would like to approach your acupuncture sessions. It can take a few or more sessions for the body to adjust to treatment, and to experience a shift. It’s a reminder that that’s ok - healing is transitional, rather than an end point. If you are coming in with a particular goal or complaint, we will discuss how many treatments you may need.
A lot of people benefit from a monthly ‘maintenance’ appointment, and generally move towards this after a few sessions. We can think of this treatment like tinkering the spokes of the wheel on a bike, a little goes a long way, and may keep us in good stead for future hurdles.

If you are new to Wood Rat Acupuncture, or haven’t had an appointment with Chloe for over 12 months, please pick this option. This is to allow extra time to check in and update any recent health records.
